Obama’s recent infrastructure proposals are snagged in a pre-election stall. But that doesn’t stop the infrastructure-osphere from debating–at length.
The Infrastructurist is a great source for news and discussion on the subject, including this roundup of media yeas and nays.
And the White House is set to release a report today highlighting some more stories of stimulus success.
Meanwhile, closer to home:
- The Wall Street Journal writes that the stimulus “has meant big business” for federal contractors in the D.C. area, including some in Maryland’s 8th.
- The Post registers Pepco’s plans for stimulus-funded smart meters in D.C., comparing them to efforts in Maryland.
- And Libertarian and not-birther Adam Bitely is underwhelmed by ARRA’s impact in Maryland.
UPDATE: The abovementioned White House report was just released, PDF here.
